Today as I sat down the studio and backup my files. I cant really do anything graphic related as it will slowdown the process or worst, my computer might crash and do it over again.
So I thought, why not blog.
I have been super busy shooting for the last 2 months. I can say that White Wall Series is pretty successful although it is still not clear to me what it really is (if its just for test shoot, for creative or both). Been getting lots of emails from people or agents who wants to do the shoot but unfortunately I can't do it all at once.
The main reason I started this series is I want to do something that will keep me busy, act as an oil for an engine. The more I shoot the more I get better. I've learned a lot and still learning from this. My retouching is faster now, my ability to react to technical problems is better, the way I communicate to the team is better, my social media (specifically instagram) grew from 500 - 1500 followers, people notice me more than before in that short span of time. I wish I can say that my English gets better too but sadly it didn't (haha). I'm also learning that most of the times you just have to stick to what you believe is right and fight for it. I've been wanting to do this shoot since 2013 but people around me told me that it's not a good look / its a no brainer -- basically because most photographers don't like Terry Richardson and this shoot is pretty close to his lighting.
I slowed down a bit for the last 2 weeks because of various reason.
1. I am getting married - Yes that is right, I am getting married ;)
2. Need to plan bigger shoots - I get bored easily, I always need something new.
3. Need to submit my visa renewal - visa is always a pain
4. Need time to breath - been shooting a LOT.
Now I'm slowly getting back to it and trying to do other stuff as well. I am planning to do lots of outdoor shoot this summer but I still want to keep shooting White Wall.
So basically I just said bunch of random things, hoping I can make a blog out of it to keep your interest.
