In 2021, I was smitten by a concept that, try as I might, eluded realization. This whirlwind of emotions and longing to share my vision culminated in a short poem about an artist's struggle to breathe life into their art for the world to enjoy.
Fast forward to 2022, a conversation with Brian Caissie, a brilliant DP, paved the way for a creative collaboration. My heart was set on directing, and he was eager to flex his skills as a DP. The missing piece of the puzzle? A script.
Diving into my past writings, the very poem I penned in 2021 called. A lightbulb moment! This was the perfect narrative for my directorial debut.
